The problem
What needed to change
Access to reliable, preliminary medical information is often confusing and anxiety-inducing for patients. Standard search engines return disorganized results, while professional medical resources are too dense for self-triage.
The solution
What we built
We engineered a secure, privacy-first diagnostic tool that guides users through a structured symptom selection process (including an interactive body map) and uses probabilistic AI modeling to instantly generate a ranked list of possible conditions and specialist referrals.
Technical detail
Built as a React SPA with a custom in-house diagnostic inference API. The frontend features a complex multi-step state machine handling patient demographics and symptom mapping. Designed with strict privacy constraints where health data never leaves the session.
